Zero Xplorer released “+ drone” project based on cellphone chip, what do you think?

In the early May of this year, Zero Xplorer announced its “+drone” plan which firstly mentioned in the future, drone maybe is a flying phone. The founder of the company said, “problems that the enterprises dealing in cellphone chip need to solve are also what the drone field facing with, like computing performance, accuracy of position, response time, low power consumption, small size and so on.

Now, “+ drone” is released officially, and it announced that this project has gained a great break- the job of removing the traditional drone system- ARM framework to cellphone chip is finished successfully, which means this project is mature and entering into promotional stage.

This drone project based on cellphone chip can not only greatly reduce cost, but also make it possible to drive drone into mass consumer market. In addition, it greatly lessens dimension and weight of drone, so the safety problems of drone are solved naturally.

While, as the highest configuration, 4K camera lens will become standard configuration, integrating HD image transmission, users’ aerial photographic experiences will be boosted roundly. At the same time, optical flow, Binocular vision, Obstacle avoidance, and smart follow such kind of advanced techs will be also thrown to the market at low price, refreshing the current consumption pattern of drones. Following that, Zero Xplorer will use its abundant experience to add flight controller and gimbal to this project to ensure the best flight control performance and stable gimbal performance.

The drone integrated project released this time has two versions: gimbal version and image stabilization version. Users could choose from multiple collocation options offered by Zero Xplorer according to product planning.
