Intel has invested 60 million US dollars to Yuneec- a drone manufacturer, what made Intel willing to invest? Today, let’s have a closer look at one of its products, and maybe we’ll know the answer. The drone we are going top know about is Yuneec Typhoon Q500 4K.

We can see that the package is simple

The case is made of carbonarius glass fiber and metal. The “what’s new” tag indicates the main parameters

The first thing occurred in front of us is a pack list and a paper board

Q500 4K adopts RoHS YUNM4234 700KV motors

It offers two sets of propellers( 8), notifying with A/B to let you know they are clockwise or anticlockwise to prevent wrong installations

Camera
Slightly press the “forehead” of the camera, then it is unloaded.

On the gimbal, there is a interface for adjusting parameter, i think it is designed for upgrading firmwares.

Remote controller with 5.5inch touch screen

The remote controller weighs 878.4g. Because it is equipped with a touch screen, it is understandable with heavier weight.

After power-on, long press the red button, then your Q500 4K will fly up. Besides, there are buttons for shooting and adjusting angles at the top left corner.
