Intel has invested over 60 million in a Chinese drone manufacturer- Yuneec, aiming at exploring potential applications in business field. Some companies is studying whether it is possible for drones to work for consumers and industrial customer service. Nowadays, Amazon and Google are trying using drones to transport goods. Under these environment, Yuneec got investment of 7.5 million dollars in total from Accel Partners.

“ Intel believes that the future world is intelligent and connective. And one of the best way to realize that kind of world is applying drones.” said by Brian Krzanich, the CEO of Intel. “ drone plan is on the schedule, we are going to start a revolutionary in this field.”

Innovative and improved DJI NAZA-M V2 Flight Controller

Fatshark Dominator V2 looks better than I expected. The color of surface on goggle is not even but it works fine. They weigh in well and don't slip of my face! It is a genuine product with all accessories included but no RX though. They fit snug on my face , you can adjust the IPD according to your eyes. Do not forget to buy other peripherals needed to get them to work - as you are only buying the goggles. You'll need Rx insert for the goggles, TX and I recommend to upgrade the antennas on RX and TX as well. For those wondering - I got the updated version with plastic lenses.

With the 35 degree diagonal FOV, we can have a wider view, but it could be even a bit larger. The viewing effect is good with offering high definition of 600 X 480. These are good enough with most bang for your buck in the goggles. What’s more, it supports file playback for your further uses. This goggles are upgradeable via SD card to offer best using experiences.

All in all, Fatshark Dominator V2 are great goggles for the price with comfortable wearing, wide viewing range, clear viewing effect and good signal. It is really a good choice for your FPV flight.

DJI Zenmuse H3-3D, a Gimbal with best performance

As a big fan of Zenmuse, i am so excited to see it developing new products with better quality and configuration. H3-3D is a new member of the Zenmuse family, inheriting the core algorithms of the Zenmuse professional series and is powered by advanced algorithms, high precision sensors and brushless motors. This means that the DJI Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal provides pixel level stabilization. Facing with such a good product, i can’t help experiencing it in person.

DJI Zenmuse H3-3D is used obviously better than H3-2D, well, just in my opinion. It takes the unparalleled 3-axis stabilization of professional Zenmuse system, and 3-axis mechanical structure with stronger motor shaft , which makes it more stable and flexible than H3-2D at work.

It is easy to install and simple to play with no additional hardware or software tuning required . Even for a beginner, he can install it at ease following instructions. Besides, it is in a light weight to ensure holding for longer time , and ideal for everything from extreme sport to film making.

I’m so proud to say that DJI Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal is another milestone in gimbal innovation. It owns an independent high-precision IMU module that is an easy to install unit. I have to say that i really like Walkera DEVO 10 with awesome 2.4 GHz radio system. Various features, simple operation, quick response and easier upgrade make it in good appliance. So, i would like to recommend this to all RC models and i will tell more about it in the following.

Cheerson CX-10C, an ultra mini drone with camera

Good news! Another interesting mini drone is coming! Cheerson CX-10C will definitely arouse your buying desires. it is the minimum drone i have ever seen, in size of 62*62*20mm. Covered by orange and silver on the four sides, together the streamlined outline, this quad is quite beautiful and eye-catching. Being made of ABS material, the frame is of good durability.

Such a mini and light drone truly realizes to be carried to anywhere and played at anytime. Flight time is about 2.5 to 4 minutes. I don’t know how to evaluate the flight time facing with its ultra mini body, but the charging time is pleasing, only costing about 25 minutes.

Super mini scale will affect the stability of flight to some extent, but with the built-in 6-axis gyro, Cheerson CX-10C tries its best to fly stably and achieve comparably difficult action to make you happy, like flip. The remote controller provides three flight speed modes to meet different users’ needs and make it possible for you to enjoy a comparably fast flight. So the flight experience with CX-10C is also full of fun.

We should use new eyes to view this quad. Although Cheerson CX-10C is ultra small, it is amazing that it comes with 0.3MP camera to realize aerial photography. The resolution can not be matched with the camera on larger drones, but it is good enough for such a size. However, to truly achieve aerial photography, you should prepare a memory card.

DYS Smart Gopro Gimbal is a great gimbal for money

For video work, 3 axis is essential. DYS Smart Gopro Gimbal is great for FPV and aerial photography. Plug and play, and everything is in aluminum and carbon fiber, so it is light as 230g without a camera.

So far, i really impressed with this gimbal. Pretty good build quality and a quality controller- not like the really cheaper one which I’ve tried and won’t go back to. It works great needed a bit of tuning. In addition, DYS Smart Gopro Gimbal is powerful during work- it can rotate continuously, creating amazing videos! What’s great is that it is no problem to connect a AV plug to send the image on FPV!

DYS Smart Gopro Gimbal is designed for DJI Phantom. Actually, it works perfectly with Phantom 1 is not easy to fit on the Phantom 2, so it would be better if it had some sort of mounting bracket for the Phantom 2.

During my using, i found some problems but solved them in the end, and now i would to share with you. Due to your aircraft thrust, the gimbal may need some PID settings and absolutely loosing power if your batteries voltage lower then 12v. The best setup scenario is 4s setup and using BEC for gimbal at 12v all the time. Besides, the YAW was out slightly meaning the camera pointed left a little, but after downloading the GUI it was a simple tweak to straighten it.

DYS Smart Gopro Gimbal is an excellent gimbal giving great performance and stability after tuning. The software can be downloaded from the internet, which is accurate and comprehensive. In one word, great gimbal for money!

DJI Phantom 3 Professional VS Standard

Recently, the sudden release of DJI Phantom 3 Standard has caught our attentions, and i believe most of us can’t help comparing it with other versions of Phantom 3 series. Today, let’s also have a closed look at the DJI Phantom 3 Professional and Standard to see what common features they share and how they differ from each other.

From their titles, it is obvious that the DJI Phantom 3 Professional is higher grade than the Standard which is designed for beginners. In my opinion, there is not difference on their appearance except for colors. Professional offers golden, and Standard comes with more color choices including red, pink, blue and green.

As professional version, of course its configurations will more high-end. It adopts the  advanced 4K camera shooting high definition pictures and 1080p HD videos. Standard is not bad with a 2.7K camera, the video is in definition of 720. But compared with Professional, the difference is visible. However, in the aspect of power system, they hold the same components, offering fast response and long flight time.

DJI Phantom 3 Standard is designed to get access to more users, it is easier to control than the Professional, that’s for sure. But the shortened remote control distance would make some people unhappy. DJI Phantom 3 Professional offers super long remote control distance up to 2000m, while Standard’s is reduced to 1000m.

As to price, DJI Phantom 3 Professional is surely much more expensive than the Standard. Which one one is better depends on your operational skills and flight needs.
